Cad Image DLL in XnView: Appears on PNG files

In XnView I opend a file called "DWG_test.png". Then I got a message that my CAD Image DLL was not registered ...

Why it appears when viewing a PNG? Does it look for string "DWG" in entire name?

Hello Peter.
DWG in the file name doesn't matter. XnView displays any PNG without using a plug in. Please make sure .png isn't part of file name but extension.

So the only reason why the info about registration appears is a timing-feature?

Hello Peter.
The reason for evaluation texts is import a file using plug in import feature. This happens if the viewer doesn't provide support for this format but the plug in does.
