Getting Information

 According to the type of needed information ABViewer has various methods and instruments of getting it. In this chapter you'll find information on the ways of getting information directly from the drawing.

Getting information about the current file: the path to the file, the date of creation and changing and so on. For CAD files it contains information about the version of the format, active text and dimension styles etc.

Viewing the contents of the active file as a tree-like structure.

Commands for the quick search for a certain textual information according to given criteria or secrch for a point with given coordinates.

Tools for measuring distance, area and lineweight.
