Text Styles

The Text Styles button allows to manage text styles which are used for the current file.

 

The Text Styles button is in the Editor tab under the section Text. It calls a dialog box for managing text styles which are used for the current CAD file:

Current Text Style

Contains the name of the current text style.

Style Name

Contains a list of text styles of the current CAD file. The current style is highlighted. Right mouse click over the list calls popup menu:

which allows selecting the text style (Set Current), renaming and deleting styles. Please note that the current style can not be deleted.

All Styles

Managing the Style name list. Select All styles to view all the text styles available in the file. Select Styles in use to view only the used text styles.

Text Font

Defines the font name and its style (if available).

Text Measurements

Defines the following text parameters:

Text Height - vertical text size
Width Factor - OX axis compression coefficient
Oblique Angle - OY axis deviation angle

Text Generation

Defines the text direction:

Print text backwards
Print text upside down

Apply

Sets text style selected in the Style name as current.

New ...

Creates new text style. After you've pressed the button you will see the following window appear:

Here you'll be able to enter the name of your new style.

The new style gets the properties of the current one by default, but you can change them the way you like. For that after you've created the style select it in the 'Style Name' list and alter the properties the way you need. Press Apply.

Delete

Deletes selected text style. The current style or the style in use can not be deleted.
