Circle

The Circle button allows to draw a circle by specifying its center and radius. The button is in the Editor tab under the section Draw. In the classical menu the command is under the Draw menu.

To add a circle

1.Click on the button .
2.Left click in the drawing field or enter the coordinates via the dynamic input - this point will be the center of the circle.
Drag the pointer to draw a circle or enter the radius.
Finishing:
oLeft click when done.
oRight click to see the following window:

 

Offset- allows precise positioning of the object relative to another object
Double offset - allows precise positioning of the object relative to other objects
Enter - finishes drawing the circle
Cancel - removes the circle
Full screen - viewing in full-screen mode

 

A circle has a set of properties which can be viewed and edited in the Properties panel:

Property

Description

Color

Defines the color of the circle

Layer

Defines the layer which the circle belongs to. The property contains a list of all available on the drawing layers and allows to move the circle to another layer.

Line Weight

Defines the lineweight of the circle. Is selected from the standard values. You can turn the function of showing the lines according to their lineweight on or off. Each lineweight value corresponds to a number of pixels on the screen. The number of these pixels isn't changed while scaling in the program window. The scale of lineweighht display on the screen is set in the Visualization tab of the Options window.

Linetype

Defines the linetype of the circle entity. Is selected from the standard values.

Linetype scale

Sets the scale for the current linetype. By default it is 1.

Point

Sets the coordinates of the center of the circle in the gnomon.

Radius

Sets the value of the radius of the circle.

Circle Length

Shows the length of the circle.

Area

Shows the area of the arc.
